(Sorrounded by the uninhabitable, the furniture defines a domesticated space inhabited with serenity by cats, books and men)
This installation is been realised in the former kitchen of the Museum Palazzo delle Papesse. Pellegrini shot a series of photos of details of private kitchen in Siena. Then he showed these slides to the owner of those kitchens by projecting them on their wall, and asked them to describe them to me while he was recording. A table, four chairs and a light, all painted in white, welcomed the public of the museum a in an almost abstract domestic landscape in which is possible to listen to the stories that are related to some invisible photos and that give a particularly vivid mental image.
